Rates

Studio Rates:
Recording & Mixing: $40 per hour
Mastering: $40 per hour - $400.00 per 10 song project
12 Hour Block Rate: $400.00
Studio rates include the services of a qualified recording technician.

Terms of Payment:
An advance deposit of 20% of the estimated costs is required to book the studio. A 48 hour notice is required for rescheduling or cancellation of recording, mixing or mastering session. If less than 48 hours notice of cancellation is given, you forfeit your deposit. The balance is due upon the conclusion of each recording, mixing or mastering session. Acceptable payment forms accepted are cash, money orders, and certified/cashier's checks.   All recordings remain the property of Cove Studios until balances are paid in full.

Recording Packages

Packages are a great way for an artist to record a project on a more limited budget. We offer the following packages but can also customize a package just for you. 

Demo Package
The demo package allows an artist, group, or band to record a 3-4 song demo for distribution to churches, promoters, and record producers. The studio time is designed to record the instrumental tracks first and add vocal tracks later in a different session. The demo packages includes up to 2 hours of vocals and 2 hours of instrumental recording per song. The final product will be a master CD ready to reproduce.
3 Song Demo - $750
4 Song Demo - $1,000
5 Song Demo - $1,250

Soundtrack Package
The soundtrack package is great for beginning and experienced vocalist or vocal groups. This package gives soloists and groups the opportunity to produce a 3-10 song project at minimal cost using great pre-recorded tracks. The vocalist or vocal group would provide the music tracks they would like to sing with, and within a few days after recording you will have your master CD ready to reproduce.
